Once the bandage is off and patted dry, you can begin moisturising your tattoo on an as-needed basis. For example, when your tattoo is dry or itchy. Less is more when healing your tattoo. Do not use polysporin or Vaseline on your healing tattoo. This can negatively affect your healing process.
2-3 days after you have removed your bandage, you may start to notice flaking and scabbing on your tattoo. Do not pick or scratch at the tattoo, this can cause the ink to fall out of your skin or an infection.
